This is an unusual watch for Benson
as they generally used swiss movements

had virtually died out at this time.

Superb
1943 second world war military
issue pocket watch by Elgin National
Watch Company USA. The watch consisting
of mint condition black porcelain enamelled
dial with original luminous hour markers
which have slightly aged, luminous hands
and subsidiary seconds dial at 6 '0'
clock,gilt frosted movement housed in
a 3 piece chrome case with screw off
bezel and case back. The case back stamped
with the "Kings Arrow" signifying
it was British military issue. Due to
the nature of what these watches were
used for they generally are not
in good condition. This one is simply
the best and a rare find in this condition,

Fabulous,
heavy solid silver Keyless wind
chronograph pocket watch by Thomas
Russell and Son 12 Church Street
Liverpool. The watch consisting
of, mint condition Porcelain dial
with gold hands and blued steel
sweep centre seconds chronograph
hand.
The chronograph mechanism
is operated by sliding the gold
lever on the outer edge of the case
at 2 o'clock in relation to the
dial. The watch with double
hinge backed mint condition silver
case (hallmarked for Chester 1901)
, the watch with gilt frosted movement
numbered 102993 and signed by Thomas
Russell and son makers to Queen
Victoria. This particular watch
is the best condition example of
a silver chronograph we have eve
had and in our own opinion it would
be virtually impossible to find
a better example.

watch in unusual screw case with
which the bezel screws off and the
full movement folds out on a hinge.
The watch has a white porcelain
dial with black Arabic numeral hour
markers and Red 5 minute markers,
Gold hands subsidiary seconds dial
mounted at 6 o'clock, silver case
which when the winding button is
pulled out and the bezel unscrewed
the movement folds out on a hinge.
The watch with very high grade
American Waltham watch Company "Royal"
movement which is filly engraved
and the central part of the movement
is overed in Gold and fully engraved.
The regulator with Star Wheel
adjustment.

watch which are usually found in
gun metal cases, this one being
in fully hallmarked sterling silver
case, in almost mint condition the
back being fully engraved in a floral
manner with a shield in the centre.
The perfect porcelain dial, with
silver inlay, the dial en scribed
"Hebdomas Patent, 8 Days Swiss
Made". Hallmarked for
the year 1919. A really beautiful

watch with original advertising
cardboard box it was sold in. A
Victorian Swiss made solid silver
cased key wind pocket watch retailed
by Fattorini and Sons in Bradford
dating from around 1890 in superb
original condition with mint condition
porcelain dial (generally by now
they have fine hairline cracks in
them) this one hasn't,the dial with
subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock,gold
hands,double hinged back case with
dust cover over the gilt frosted
movement. It comes amazingly with
the original Fattorini cardboard
box it was sold in,which as it is
only cardboard is very rare to survive.
